The Arp Odyssey is a duophonic analog synthesizer. The Odyssey has a 37 note standard action keyboard. It has two phase locked oscillators that have a 9 octave range. The voltage controlled oscillators can produce the following waveforms: sawtooth, square, pulse, dynamic pulse, as well as phase-synced waveforms. The Odyssey has pink and white noise generators and ring modulation. The voltage controlled filter has a range of 16Hz to 16Khz. The LFO has a sine and square wave with a frequency of 0.2Hz to 20Hz. There is a standard ADSR and a AR envelope. The Odyssey has a sample and hold function, a pitch bend control, a transpose switch, and a portamento. There is also a gate in/out as well as a trigger in/out. The Odyssey is compatible and can be interfaced with all other Arp synthesizers. The Odyssey was released as 3 versions starting with the MKI (MK1) in 1972, the MKII (MK2) in 1974, and the MKIII (MK3) in 1976 by
Arp Instruments Incorporated of USA.
